In 2000, CSFS commenced operations in March 2000 as a licensed investment advisor and dealer/market maker at the Nairobi Stock Exchange, Kenya.
In 2001, CSFS acquired Equity Stock Brokers Limited, one of the oldest stock broking firms in Kenya, which marked its entry into agency trading.
In 2002, CSFS became the first Investment Bank licensed by the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya.
In 2008, CSFS's parent company (CfC Bank Ltd) merged with Stanbic Bank Kenya Ltd (a member of Standard Bank Group) and today is one of the largest stock broking firms in the country.
